Madelene DeSloover, POSTPARTUM DOULA
Let’s talk about ways I can support you!
My name is Madelene DeSloover. I have been working with families as a nanny and babysitter for over ten years now and I am thrilled to be applying all that I have learned over the years into being a postpartum doula. As soon as I learned about being a doula, I knew that this was the career path I wanted to follow. I have a passion for caring for parents and children, and fostering the transition that comes with welcoming a child into the world! This passion grew even deeper when I became an aunt in 2020, and again in 2023. I gained an intimate understanding of what it is like to support a postpartum mother and care for a newborn.
I have solidified my skills throughout my training with Tiny Love Doula and I have found so much joy in helping families during the postpartum period. I have also gained a wealth of knowledge about subjects such as breastfeeding, infant wake windows, sibling connection, care of a mother, and so much more. Whether it may be washing pump parts, meal prepping, or bringing baby to and from mom between middle of the night feeds, I truly am delighted to be working in this role.
Thank you for reading along and learning how rewarding I believe this career to be. I am eager to meet with you and learn your goals in hiring a doula and planning what is most important to you during this exciting and transformative time in your life!
